History & Tips

Game History

  • Released in 1997 by Bally
  • Design by John Popadiuk
  • One of the final games produced by Bally, and the only one with the screen placed just over the playfield.
  • Though deeply loved now, it was considered a flop at the time and few were produced, making it rare nowadays

About THIS Game

  • Aluminum flippers from Precision Pinball – increased accuracy and power over standard flippers
  • Color DMD (video screen) added; stock is monochrome like all pre-LCD pins

Tips & Strategy

  • Spell WOW to raise the ringmaster. Then smash his annoying face. Each run after the first will start a multiball.
  • Hit the targets on each side of the left ramp to light locks for Highwire Multiball. Then hit the ramp to lock a ball.
  • Make three left orbit shots to light locks for Juggler Multiball.
  • You can stack Ringmaster multiballs with others! When the Ringmaster is up, start Highwire, Juggler, or Strike-An-Arc multiball and keep bashing the Ringmaster. If you start his multiball, it will add another ball in play, light additional jackpots, and restart the ball saver.
